Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the approach and management of common neurological conditions encountered in the outpatient, office-based setting.

  • Assess, using a case-based approach, the management of common neurologic emergencies and highlight common mimics.

  • Evaluate the role of brain health, healthy aging and appropriate preventative care in patients with neurological disorders.

  • Distinguish the presentation and phenotype of rarely-encountered or emerging neurologic conditions and appraise how to appropriate diagnose and refer such patients.
